Mangalore, October 31: As part of the first phase of the central government's privatization, Mangalore International Airport has been embraced by the Adani Group of Companies.
Adani's bid was received at the airport. No representatives of the ruling party in the district have opposed the privatization of Mangalore airport. There has been no strong opposition and protests on the part of the opposition.
Mangalore Airport is the 6th privatized airport. Adani group is expected to own Lucknow Airport on November 2 and Ahmedabad on November 6.
