Mumbai, Oct.21: Billawara Association Mumbai Former President, Honorary Life President, Honorary President of Rashtriya Billava Maha Mandal Mulki, and Ex. Chairman of Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited, Administration Committee Honorary President of Shri Kshetra Gejgegiri Nandana Bittil, Karnataka Rajyotsava Award honored Jaya C. Suvarna Died at the Nilgiri Residence East of Goregaon Early Wednesday Morning.
In 2012, he was awarded with Pingara Rajyotsava Prashasthi as president of Billawa Maha Mandala at Townhall Mangalore by then Bishop of Mangalore Most Rev. Aloysius Paul Dsouza.
He was Born on 15.05.1946 near Padubidri in Udupi district. Born as a son of Chandu Poojary and Achu Poojarti, Jaya Suvarna was Primary educated at Adwe and Digree Completed at Chinnai College in Andheri, Mumbai in 1974.
He is survived by his Wife Leelavathi Jaya Suvarna, four Son’s (Suryakant J. Suvarna, Subhash J.Suvarna, Dinesh J.Suvarna, Yogesh J.Suvarna). The funeral of the deceased will be held at the Goregaon East this evening (Wednesday), family sources said.
The death of Jaya Suvarna in the premature death of his late predecessor, Union Minister B. Janardhana Poojary, Billawara Association Mumbai President Chandrashekhar S.Poojary, former Presidents L.V Avin, Nithyananda D. Kotyan, Rashtriya Billava Maha Mandal Mulki President Dr.Rajashekar R.Kotyan and all the officials and members of the Billavara Association's central and local committees, Uppur Shivaji Poojary (U.S Poojary) Chairman of Bharat Bank, Adv.Rohini J. Salan, Vice Chairperson, Ex, Chairmans of BCB Vasudeva R. Kotyan & MB Cookian, and Board of Directors, Superiors, Employees, Officers, BCCI Chairman N.T Poojary and Hundreds of NGOs across the country have expressed their deepest condolences.
