Racing Event in the History of Gujarat

Gujarat: St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Vamanjoor, Mangalore, took part in “Contura 2.0”,the biggest Drone Racing event in the history of Gujarat conducted under the 21st Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) National Students Convention, held at LD College of Engineering on 29th and 30th January 2019. Yamen Akhtar Mohammed, a student of 3 rd year Electrical and Electronics Engineering brought glory to SJEC by winning the third place in the event. It was organized by the Indian Drone Community (IDC). IDC is a body that aims to unite all drone pilots and enthusiasts through a common medium. Various teams across the Country participated along with their self-designed drones.St Joseph Engineering College is proud of the monumental achievement of Yamen Akhtar Mohammed and congratulates him for his outstanding efforts.
