Mangalore:- As per the Dakshina Kannada district health bulletin, a total of 10,19,825 samples have been tested so far, out of which 9,27,960 have turned out to be negative. The total number of positive cases in the district has risen to 91,865, out of which 6,006 are currently active. As many as 641 patients were discharged from hospitals on Sunday, taking the total number of recoveries to 84,708. The district recorded 15 deaths due to coronavirus on Sunday. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1151, out of which two are non-Covid deaths. The positivity rate in the district stands at 5.64%.
Udupi:- As per the district health bulletin, as many as 6,76,569 samples have been tested so far. A total of 96 new cases were reported on Sunday, taking the total number of cases to 66,136, out of which 1,010 are currently active. A total of 214 patients were discharged from hospitals on Sunday, taking the total number of recoveries to 64,736. Coronavirus has claimed 390 lives in the district so far.
