The day’s celebrations began with the blessing of newly harvested paddy sheaves by Fr. Naveen Prakash Pinto, Headmaster of Deva Matha English Medium School. The blessing served as a symbol of gratitude for God’s providence. A solemn procession followed, where the Bambina of Infant Mary was carried from the school grounds. Parishioners participated with reverence, carrying the blessed paddy, while children joyfully offered flowers to Mother Mary. The procession was accompanied by the singing of hymns in honor of Infant Mary, adding a spiritual vibrance to the occasion.
