New Delhi, Karnataka Bhavan- Karnataka Power Minister K. J. George, along with Mumbai-based union leader Felix Dsouza, Taccode met the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka Sri Siddaramaiah today at Karnataka Bhavan, New Delhi.
During the meeting, Felix Dsouza requested the Chief Minister to extend special recognition and facilitation from the Government of Karnataka to Jemieh Rigregess, cricketer and winner of the 
2025 World Cup, for her outstanding achievement and contribution to the state.
Mr. Dsouza also submitted a request to the Chief Minister regarding the renaming of Mangalore Railway Station in honour of Shri George Fernandes. In response, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah assured that the Government of Karnataka will formally forward this proposal to the Central Government for consideration.
