Students should understand the realities of life and focus on an ability-based career during their studies in colleges. There are numerous options available to form a career including UPSC, KPSC and competitive examinations. Even one is unsuccessful on the first attempt, don’t give up. Go for subsequent attempts said Mr. Rishikesh Bhagawan Sonawane IPS, Superintendent of Police, Dakshina Kannada district in his keynote address during the career and counseling programme 

Earlier the program was inaugurated by Vishwas Kumar Das of V4 media and spoke on the entrepreneurship development opportunities available to the students. Prof. Nandakishore, Head of the Department of English Government First Grade College Bantwal trained the students on the interview skills and communication skills, Mr. Vijayan K, Indian Navy (Rtd) spoke on the opportunities available in the defense sector – Army, Navy, and Air force. Prof. Rajan V.N. Principal of the college said students should develop a mindset to take up any competitive examinations with the college’s training. Those who find it difficult can go for self-employment in his presidential address. Mr. Raghuveer Souterpete, District Youth Officer, NYK, DK District welcomed the gathering sharing his own experience working with youths. Mr. Jagadish, Administrative Officer NYK and Mr. Ayaz Basha, President Expo Friends Club were present in the programme. Prof. Roshan Santhumayor, the Vice Principal of the college proposed the vote of thanks, Prof. Samuel compered the programme and the college choir invoked the blessing of God.
