The incident took place in Duvwada, Vishakapattanam. Shashikala, student of Duvwada pursuing her MCA, as she tried to get down from moving train, she accidently slipped on the platform.

A video of student stuck between platform and a train and suffering for hours has gone viral on social media.
Passengers at the railway station had come to her rescue but to no avail. Finally Railway station staff has reached the spot and saved the student by breaking the platform where she was trapped.
