The Karnataka State Hotels Association (KSHA) has expressed its gratitude to the Hon'ble Chief  Minister, Siddaramaiah, for his decision to maintain the current prices  of Nandini milk  &  milk  products.

In a  press  release,  the  Association's  President, G. K. Shetty, commended the Chief Minister for safeguarding the interests of both Hotels & Consumers by heeding the association's concerns regarding the negative impacts of a potential price increase on milk and milk products.

The general public is already facing challenges due to inflation, and a rise in milk and milk product prices would have exacerbated their difficulties. Furthermore, such an increase would have posed significant challenges for the hotel industry. In light of this, the association had urged the Chief  Minister to refrain from raising prices.

Should the state government have permitted a price revision, hotel owners would have been compelled to raise the rates of food items, ultimately affecting customers. The Chief  Minister's prompt action will ensure the protection of all stakeholders' interests, he noted.
