Mangalore : Decennial celebrations of Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Bishop Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo ,Bishop of Udupi diocese, Holy Mass was celebrated in the chapel.Bishop Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo is the main celebrity of the thanks giving mass. Bishop homely stressed on the importance of caring the poor and destitute. He appealed to the people to have more social concern and to be generous towards fellow human beings. Priests from Mangaluru diocese, religious sisters and devotees attended the Mass.
Bro Joseph Crasta welcomed with the plant and gave brief introduction about Snehalaya. Rev Fr Ignatius Monteiro delivered a message about his experience at Snehalaya and said It is very difficult to construct an institution by an individual, But when ten hands come together, it becomes easy and the goal is achieved. So it is my kind request to be generous and strengthen the hands of Joseph."
We had conducted 17 competitions in our residence the winners are encouraged ang given a memento .The prize distribution was done by Bishop Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo. Presently there are 44 staff working for Snehalaya and were honored by giving token of love by Bishop.
