Mangalore:- As Covid-19 has forced regular schools to close their doors and go for online mode of education; Ankuram Educational Trust has formed its own concept to run a full-fledged online school named e - School for Remote Academia (eSRA), which allows the students to explore and develop their skills at the comfort of their home. The grand launch was organized online on 28th September 2020, through Google Meet and live streamed on our YouTube channel - Ankuram Educational Trust.
Dr. Subramanya Yadapadithaya, Vice Chancellor, Mangalore University, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest for the Inaugural function. He released the official logo of eSRA and addressed the gathering by highlighting the importance of reformed education culture setup within eSRA, while also stressing upon the KVAR format of learning which forms the essence of eSRA. Also, while addressing the attendees he also explained the importance of such an adventure and lauded eSRA for not limiting to using visual mode alone as a method of teaching, but also employing other methods to make this system a holistic education system.
Srinivasan Nandagopal, Co-Founder of Centre for Integrated Learning, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour for the program. He planted a sapling as a mark of germination of this new endeavor eSRA. In his address, he wished the team with best wishes for the new venture and explained his idea of education required for this generation and also elaborated that a restructuring of the education system is the need of the hour.
The program was presided over by K. Padmanabha Paniker, who explained the necessity of institutions like eSRA in such challenging times. The Managing Director, Akshay K Paniker introduced the team of Ankuram eSRA and explained the USP and working methodology of eSRA.
Milana VM was the master of ceremony, Nagma welcomed the gathering and Praveen Kumar B, rendered the vote of thanks.
