Mangaluru: Atal Incubation Center NITTE and Karnataka Bank Limited (KBL) came together, along with the members of the MSME Industry to celebrate the best of MSMEs at the NITTE-KBL MSME Conclave and Business Awards 2022, at Hotel Ocean Pearl on September 24th September 2022. Nitte-KBL MSME Conclave- 2022 organized by AIC NitteIncubation Centre and Karnataka Bank and Co-sponsored by Union Bank of India and Bank of Baroda and associate sponsored by Canara Bank, the Campco Limited.
The Nitte-KBL Conclave 2022 was inaugurated by Vishal HegdePro-chancellor Nitte University. Balachandra, Chief Operating Officer,Karnataka Bank and CAK UllasKamath, Founder UK and Co. Bengaluru were present as guests. Vishal Hegde while delivering Inaugural address explained need to enhance the competitiveness of MSME s in the ever changing Business environment. He appealed the owners of MSMEs to adopt a transparent system in Managing the day to day operations and always strive for excellence. The Conclave experienced five panel sessions on enhancing the competiveness of the MSMEs and its implementation towards business growth. The industry leaders addressed the MSMEs, who participated whole heartedly and, in vibrant colours. Also, the investment firms (VC/Angels) met select MSMEs to assess the feasibility of investment options in the promising enterprises.
Managing MSMEs during uncertain times - Challenges and Solutions was the main topic of the Conclave.The First session was Strategies for enhancing the competitiveness of MSMEs by CA K Ullas Kamath, Founder UK and Co.The Second session was Transformation of MSMEs through digital technologies by Tridib Bhattacharjee Founder, Astramind Consulting and Keshav Reddy, Chief Revenue Officer, E2E Networks Ltd. The Third session was Schemes and Incentives for MSMEs presented by CA SS Nayak, MSME and Finance Expert and Ramesh Bhat, General Manager, Karnataka Bank. The Fourth session was The Logistics and Supply Chain Management – Emerging Trends presented by Kirishna Sumanth, Karpine Technologies Pvt Ltd and BurhanSurti,Founder, Logibee.
Penal discussion and Question and Answer session was with MSMEs participants by banking experts.
