Qatar: Maharashtra Mandal Qatar (MMQ), collaboration with the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) falicited FIFA invited dignitary Yuvraj Malorjiraje Shahu Chhatrapati. The Maharashtra Mandal Qatar President Sanjay Patil along with MMQ committee team year 2021, - 2022 arranged the event to felicitate the dignitary Malorjiraje Shahu Chhatrapati and Madhurima Raje on 23rd November 2022 at Ashoka Hall, Indian Cultural Centre, Doha. Malorjiraje Chhatrapati belongs to the Kolhapur royal family and is a descendant of the Shahu of Kolhapur, is an Indian politician and a former member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. He is the secretary of the All-India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society.
ICC Vice President Subramanya Hebbagelu, ICBF President Vinod Nair, ICC Cultural Head Shweta Koshti, MMQ Past President, MMQ Founder members, Karnataka Association President Mahesh Gowda, Other association heads & MMQ enthusiastic council members were given their presence to grace the occasion. Program started with the presidential address and honoring the dignitary as per the tradition and culture of Maharashtra. As the executive committee of the All-India Football Federation, Malorjiraje Shahu Chhatrapati inspired and motivated the MMQ members by stating his own experience. The committee arranged various singing, and cultural programs to highlight the talent of the members in front of the dignitaries present. Event was decorated with various cultural singing programs exhibited by MMQ artist Manasi Washikar, Reva washikar, & Shriya Patil. Artist Pranjali Mulik exhibited the FIFA World Cup the art form of moving sculptures of Papers. Shweta and her team exhibited Yoga musical form. All present dignitaries and members were overwhelmed by this presentation. The General Secretary of Maharashtra Mandal Qatar, Sushant Savardekar thanked all the dignitaries and the MMQ members to make this program successful which was scheduled in a very short period, thus leaving behind the memory of the FIFA World Cup Qatar'
