Allipade, Bantwal: St Antony English Medium School, Allipade, hosted its first Parent-Teacher meeting for the academic year 2025–26 with great enthusiasm and active participation. 

The event commenced with a mesmerizing welcome dance and a melodious prayer song by the students.

The Chief Guest and the Resource Person of the day, Rev. Fr Alwyn Richard Dsouza addressed the gathering on the topic “The Role of Parents in the All-Round Development of Children”. He emphasized the active parental involvement in nurturing values,  discipline and a holistic development of children.  

Rev. Fr Robert D'Souza, the school Correspondent presided over the programme. In his presidential address, he emphasized the cordial relations between the teachers, students and parents which should contribute to the integral development of each child at our school. 

The High lights: 

1. The school teachers were introduced to the parents. 

2. The Headmistress Sr Lavina Veigas presented an overview of the school’s rules and regulations and requested total support of the parents for the smooth functioning of the school.

3. The high-achieving students for the last academic year were recognized and awarded for their academic excellence.

4. The first issue of the School magazine, Antonite 2024–25, a special edition was released at the programme. 

5. The election of the class representatives for the Parents Teacher Association (PTA) was conducted and they were warmly welcomed with congratulatory wishes and floral greetings.

6. The parents were given an opportunity for sharing their thoughts and feedback. 

The  Members of the school management committee Naveen Moras, Kiran Noronha, Rakesh Tauro, Stany Menezes and Vincent Pinto were present for the programme. 

Tulasi extended a warm welcome to all setting a positive tone for the event. The programme was efficiently compered by Vanitha and Deepika Shetty. Kavitha rendered the vote of thanks. 

The event came to a meaningful close with the singing of the National Anthem, symbolizing unity and respect for the nation.
