Today's Bible Verses
1 Corinthians 4:1-5
This is how one should regard us, as SERVANTS OF CHRIST and STEWARDS of the Mystery of God.
Today's Reflection
Here Paul is speaking to the Beleivers in Corinth in Judicial Language.
Here US refers to the Apostolic Leaders.
Paul uses two words here to elaborate what he means.
The first, SERVANTS
The one who waits on or assists someone.
The second is STEWARDS , which describes a servant or slave who manages the affairs of a household.
Both these description involves TRUST.
Paul says in 1 Timothy 1:12... I am grateful to Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because he judged me faithful and appointed me (to be a Servant, a Steward) to his service.
And so while the world talks about productivity and profits, we, the Church must focus on love and charity, which is needed for the care and salvation of souls.
We are called to be stewards in this mission of salvation.
As a Leader appointed by God, WHO ARE YOU FOR CHRIST ?
May we be the new wine that will give the world the sweet taste of God’s love and salvation.
GOD BLESS YOU
Good morning. Have a nice day.
Let's pray for the all the sick and suffering we know.
