Udupi: Death toll from COVID-19 has been increasing rapidly in Udupi. The Udupi districts which has recorded the least cases of fatal now seems like rising. Two infected people have died in the district in the last 24 hours. This has increased the number of Covid-19 infected people in the district.
One person died in Udupi and another died at Kundapur Hospital.
The 49-year-old man from Udupi was suffering from other ailments, including diabetes. He was being treated at a private hospital and was admitted to the city's Covid Hospital due to Kovid-19 infection. But he died in the hospital early this morning.
Another death was reported in Kundapur, when a 58-year-old man from Maravanthe was suffering from asthma. He was confirmed with a Covid infection on Wednesday evening and reportedly passed away just before treatment began.
