Speaking after inaugurating the 75th Independence Day celebrations (‘Azaadi ka Amrut Mahotsavʼ) organized by the NSS in the Mangala Stadium of Mangalore University here on Sunday, he said, “it is the time to introspection for us. We should adopt ‘Nation First’ concept and caste, creed everything should come next,” he added.

In his presidential address, Mangalore University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Subrahmanya Yadapadithaya opined that the New Education Policy to be implemented will bring about a comprehensive change in the country. The future of the country rests on this education policy for the next 25-30 years.
