Mangaluru: The Department of Commerce and Commerce association in collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Milagres College organized A National Virtual Students Capacity Building Programme (SCBP)-13 on the topic “Scope of Finance in Oil Industry & Current Challenges” on June 26, 2021at 11.30 - 12.30pm.
C.A Pinaki Das, Chief Manager MRPL, Mangalore was the resource person. On the occasion he shared his knowledge and experience in Oil Industry. He briefed the participants about global processes of exploration, extraction, refining, transporting and marketing of petroleum products. He highlighted on various challenges faced in the oil industry. He made known the possible opportunities available and to how they could be explored. He highlighted on topics like Capex Proposal Evaluation, Export and Debtor Management and Accounts and Audit in Oil Industry.
The session was conducted through Google Meet Platform and total of 100 students including participants from Kerala and Maharashtra benefited from the webinars. It was an interactive session which was instilled with information. The students were issued E-certificates.
Rev. Fr. Michael L Santhumayor, Principal introduced the resource person and encouraged the students to take active participation in the session. Lavita Pereira, faculty of Commerce compeered the session and Cassin Rodrigues, Vice principal proposed vote of thanks.
