Mangalore / Udupi:- Second PU results have been announced. Dakshina Kannada and Udupi have bagged the top spot in the state, followed by Kodagu district.
The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) on Tuesday July 14 declared the results of the Pre-University II-year examination (PUC). Addressing a press meet, Primary & Secondary Education minister Suresh Kumar, joined by the officials said, "Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district have topped the Karnataka 2nd PUC examination followed by Kodagu.”
The overall pass percentage this year is 69.20 percent and candidates of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district have topped the board exam.The pass percentage in Commerce students have scored 65.52 pass percentage, Science students a pass percentage of 76.20 and arts 41.27%.
Udupi has topped the states with the 90.01%. Dakshina Kannada has bagged second place with pass percentage of 89.92%.
