Mangalore: The primary students of St Theresa’s School held an exhibition on their Open House Day for all the parents to admire and appreciate. 

The Students of Grade 3 exhibited their ‘Best out of Waste’ models. The models showcased the creative and innovative minds of the students who made the same using items that would otherwise be thrown away. Used Coconut shells, glass bottles, plastic bottles, paper, straw etc were a few items used in making the same. The creativity and skill of the children were appreciated by all the parents. The students were thus taught about the importance of being environment friendly and at the same time learnt to create useful objects out of waste products. 

The students of class 4 had their science Exhibition. It created a platform where they implemented the various scientific methods  and concepts learnt through various projects/models using ‘Best out of Waste’ items. The students presented their projects like  models of solar power energy, space satellites, hydroelectric generators, water Dispenser, Solar System , Wind Energy, Water cycle, Rain water Harvesting, Different parts of the body, Working of various organs etc. The efforts of the students and parents who helped them to some extent in making a few models were appreciated by everyone.

Students of grade 5 participated and displayed their innovative talents in the Science Model exhibition. Talking about the social science exhibition, they showcased Various working and still models. Charts were also displayed as a part of their project based learning methodology.

There was a great deal of enthusiasm shown by the students as everybody appreciated the hands on approach and the learning aspect.
