Sahayadri
Pratian Technologies, Bangalore and Sahayadri College of Engineering & Management, Mangalore sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Sahayadri-Pratian Innovation Ecosystem. Mr. Krishna Kumar, Chief Technology Officer of Pratian Technologies visited Sahayadri and interacted with Students, Faculty and Management. He presented on the Pratian Global Innovation (PGI) Lab which would be set up in the Campus and said that Sahayadri is going to pioneer as the Innovation Centre. Highlighting the current Education System he said that Education is now going to be inter-disciplinary and it is no more about the degree but about imparting skills. He also brought to light the emergence of online universities. He highlighted the efforts of Pratian in creating pool of Talents to meet the need of Employ ability, Deploy ability and Bill ability and thereby overcome these challenges. He further clarified that the Pratian Ecosystem includes Learning Skills, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He concluded stating that each one has infinite potential in them and urged the faculty and students to choose from the various natural abilities and further collaborate with PGI Ecosystem which intends to set up Development Labs, R&D Labs and Entrepreneurship Cell at Sahayadri.
In order to make students, enable students to pursue a specific career path, their areas of interest and passion, Pratian has tested framework for Content Creation, assessment and Specific competency Development in a iterative Manner. This visit has Strengthened the relationship-to work together with the organization that would enable Sahayadri to be the front runner in various student-centric innovations leading to employment of our students.
