Allipade: The school reopening for the academic year 2025-26 was organised at St Anthony English medium School, Allipade with great enthusiasm and excitement.
The school was beautifully decorated with balloons and flowers to welcome the students. The school management and staff made special efforts to welcome the students and created an inspiring atmosphere.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the School Correspondent Rev. Fr Robert Dsouza, the Headmistress Sr Lavina Veigas, and the Vice- President of the Parish Council, Naveen Moras.
At the entrance of the school, teachers welcomed the students and directed them to their new classrooms. There was a lively interaction between teachers and students with regard to the holiday experiences.
A prayer service was organized, and the students prayed for various intentions.
In his address, Rev. Fr. Robert Dsouza encouraged the students to seize the various opportunities available and strive for excellence in all their endeavors. He emphasized the importance of hard work, cleanliness, time management, and determination.
Sr Lavina Veigas, the headmistress motivated the students to set new academic goals and plan their actions to achieve them. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of sweets. All the students enjoyed themselves and carried sweet memories of the first day of school with smiles on their faces.
