Benar Singh Manhan who was rescued from Beeri , Mangalore started his life at Snehalaya on 15-11-2020. When Snehalaya team found him, he looked very shabhy and dirty cloths which made the team presume that he had not taken a bath for many days. 

He was brought to Snehalaya for treatment and rehabilitation.

After medical trearment was given to Benar Singh Manhan  he began to taken part in activities like Yoga, exercises, games etc. even shared his whereabouts. 

He informed that he hailed from Balamger District of Odissa. Snehalaya then contacted Shraddha Rehabilitation Foundation, Mumbai and sent him there for further process of rehabilitation and reunion.

A survey was then conducted and his house was found. 

His uncle accepted him and it was a great joy for him to meet Benar Singh Manhan after a span of one year. 

His uncle who was overjoyed to see him Said  "I am seeing him after 1 year. There was no hope that I would ever meet him", his uncle expressed gratitude after getting him back home.

Benar Singh Manhan's original name is Anirudha Manhanda, was mentally ill  from the past 15 years. Treatment was not given to him by the family. His parents expired long back. He is single and has no sibling.  His uncle was looking after him. But unfortunately, one fine day he disappeared. His uncle searched everywhere.  But all his efforts was in vain. 

Now he is very happy and the response was good.
