Mangalore:- The Covid-19 situation appears to have reached an alarming stage in Dakshina Kannada, which on Thursday reported the highest-ever single-day spike of 1,175 positive cases, leaving the people of the district concerned over the grim situation. The number of total positive cases now stands at 43,904. The bulletin from the health department stated that on Thursday as many as 209 patients have been discharged from the hospital. The total number of patients discharged from hospitals are 37,486.
Udupi:- As per the health bulletin, Udupi has reported 568 positive cases on Thursday. The total number of infected patients is 30,882. As of Thursday, 439 patients have discharged from the hospital. The total number of patients discharged are 28,328. While the total active cases 2,358 in the district. Two people have died from the infection on Thursday. The total death toll due to Covid-19 in the district is 196.
