Mangalore:- As per the Dakshina Kannada district health bulletin, a total of 9,64,157 samples have been tested so far, out of which 8,65,372 have turned out to be negative. The total number of positive cases in the district has risen to 88,707, out of which 7,126 are currently active. As many as 583 patients were discharged from hospitals on Sunday, taking the total number of recoveries to 80,530. The district recorded 11 deaths due to coronavirus on Sunday. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1051, out of which two are non-Covid deaths. The positivity rate in the district stands at 4.95%.
Udupi:- As per the district health bulletin, as many as 6,56,523 samples have been tested so far. As many as 166 new cases were reported on Sunday, taking the total number of cases to 65,356, out of which 1,870 are currently active. A total of 180 patients were discharged from hospitals on Sunday, taking the total number of recoveries to 63,114.Coronavirus has claimed 372 lives in the district so far, including one on Sunday.
