Mangaluru, June 20: Today at Deputy Commissioner office Mangaluru a meeting conveyed to extend the lockdown till July 5, 2021.
As the covid cases in DK above 5%, in the meeting DC said, that the relaxation time for purchasing essentials will be extended from morning 7am to 1pm noon.
The Night curfew will be in progress as per earlier orders from evening 7pm to morning 7am. With this, the weekend curfew has been imposed in all over district from Friday 7pm to Monday 7am will be enforced.
In these 2 weeks extended lockdown, the permission has been given for industries to work with 50% capacity and the garment industries with 30% capacity. Where as the grocery shops and markets like vegetable, fruit market, bakery, meat stall, milk booths, Dairy, street vendors, pulling cart sellers, Ration shops, liquor shops will be open from Morning 7am to 1pm as per the strict guidelines.
Auto and Cabs are allowed to operate with maximum 2 passengers. The government offices will operate with 50% capacity as per previous guidelines.
Public parks will be closed until the next order and no busses are allowed to operate.
