Mangalore:- As per the district health bulletin, a total of 9,53,554 samples have been tested so far, out of which 8,65,372 have turned out to be negative. The total number of positive cases in the district has risen to 88,182 out of which 7,195 are currently active. The positivity rate of the district is 7.96%.As many as 552 patients were discharged from hospitals on Saturday. The district recorded sixteen deaths due to coronavirus on Saturday. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1,040.
Udupi:- As per the district health bulletin, as many as 6,53,247 samples have been tested so far. As many as 174 new cases were reported on Saturday, taking the total number of cases to 65,190 out of which 1,885 are currently active. A total of 454 patients were discharged from hospitals on Saturday. Coronavirus has claimed 371 lives in the district so far, including two on Saturday.
