Mangalore:- The district of Dakshina Kannada, on Monday, reported 1,175 positive cases. The total positive cases reported so far are 57,551. The bulletin from the health department stated that on Monday as many as 985 patients have been discharged from the hospital. The total number of patients discharged from hospitals are 44,019.A total of 782,738 samples have been tested of which 725,187 are negative. The district has 12,742 active cases. The total death toll has risen to 790, including five on Monday.
Udupi:- As per the health bulletin, Udupi has reported 855 positive cases on Monday. The total number of infected patients is 40,733. As of Monday, 642 patients have discharged from the hospital. The total number of patients discharged are 33,915. A total of 531,012 samples have been tested. The total active cases 6,582 in the district. The total death toll due to Covid-19 in the district is 236, including three on Monday.
