Puttur: The Department of Business Administration at St Philomena College (Autonomous), Puttur, in collaboration with ICT Academy, has commenced a specialized Digital Marketing training programme for BBA students who have opted for the subject as part of their curriculum.
The training sessions are being conducted by Syed Kamran, a certified trainer from the ICT Academy. Delivered with a 100% practical approach, the classes are held in the computer laboratory of the college. As part of the training structure, students undergo online assessments on a daily basis to reinforce their learning and evaluate their progress effectively.
Upon successful completion of the course and assessments, students will be awarded certificates from the ICT Academy, adding value to their academic credentials and enhancing their employability.
Commenting on the initiative, Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, Principal of the College, remarked, “Offering Digital Marketing training to our students stands as a testimony to the commitment of the college to skill enhancement. I congratulate all the students who have actively participated in this training programme organized in collaboration with ICT Academy. This initiative will certainly aid them in securing better employment opportunities in the future.”
Dr Radhakrishna Gowda, Dean and Head of the Department of Business Administration, emphasized the relevance of the course in today’s rapidly evolving business landscape. “In the digital age, marketing has undergone a radical transformation.
