Do you agree, the silent epidemic of the modern age is lifestyle diseases….? YES, we do, the lifestyle diseases, also known as non-communicable diseases. They arise primarily due to unhealthy habits, minimal physical activity, sedentary lifestyle or behaviour, poor diet and stress which we see in this modern age. These conditions include diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, obesity, infertility and so on...

Can lifestyle diseases be prevented? Yes, it is preventable through behavioural changes emphasizing the role of holistic approaches such as NATUROPATHY and YOGA. As the word suggests, Naturopathy is a return to nature. Naturopathy, also known as naturopathic medicine, is rooted in the belief that nature has the power to heal. It combines traditional healing methods with modern scientific advances to treat the whole person — body, mind and spirit—naturally by using 5 elements of nature (Earth, water, fire, air and space). Naturopathy has gained renewed attention for its preventive, non-invasive and drugless approach.

Coming to Yoga, as you all know, Yoga has developed worldwide, hence it is derived from the Sanskrit word YUJ, which means joining. Yoga believes that every disease condition occurs due to stress or mental agitation. As the definition says ‘’ YOGA CITTA VRITTI NIRODHAH’’, which means that yoga helps in removing all the fluctuations of the mind. When the fluctuations are removed from the mind, the body becomes disease-free. Coming to yoga therapy, it is a supportive, health-focused use of yoga practices to help people manage physical, mental, or emotional wellbeing. Yoga therapy includes gentle posture (asana), breath control (pranayama), Kriyas (cleansing practices), Relaxation & mindfulness.

As our motto says, ‘’HEAL AND COMFORT’’. Healing is not only about fixing what hurts, it is about restoring balance — in the body, the mind, and the breath. Naturopathy & Yoga remind us of something simple yet powerful: The body has a natural ability to heal when it is supported with care, patience and respect. Only people who practice and follow naturopathy and yoga principles will believe in the phrase “Where lifestyle meets natural medicine adds years to life and life to years.”
