Mumbai, Dec 27: In a significant step towards experiential learning and early career exposure, the children of Ryans from grades IX-XII participated in an enriching Internship Session at the St Xavier’s Institute of Education (SXIE),Mumbai.





The programme was designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of the teaching profession while strengthening their communication, leadership and classroom management skills.
The session was attended by students from Ryan International School, Goregaon, Ryan International School, ICSE, Malad, Ryan International School, CBSE, Malad, Ryan International, CBSE, Kandivli, Cambridge School, ICSE, Kandivli, Ryan Christian School, Borivli, Ryan International School, Sanpada, St Lawrence, Borivli, St Xavier’s, Borivli, St Xavier’s, Shanti Park, St Xavier’s, Goregaon.
Faculty members of SXIE emphasized the importance of nurturing interest in the teaching profession at an early stage and highlighted how such internships help students develop empathy, responsibility and confidence.
The internship helped students understand the responsibilities and values associated with the teaching profession while building confidence, communication skills and leadership qualities.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman of Ryan Group of Schools Dr A F Pinto, emphasized the importance of such experiential opportunities stating that internship sessions as these allow young learners to experience education in the true sense-through observation, interaction and practice. These early impressions play a vital role in encouraging children to one day choose teaching as a meaningful and purposeful career.
