Mangalore: An inter-college Hindi conference was jointly organized by Bank of Baroda, Zonal Office, Mangalore, and Besant Women's College, Kodialbail, Mangaluru. The event saw participation from students of local colleges, as well as Udupi and Sullia Colleges. Students engaged in a conference and a paper presentation competition centered around the theme of the significance of the mother tongue in both education and banking sectors. Research articles were reviewed and presented during the event.
Dr. Praveena Kumar KC, Principal of Besant Women's College, presided over the program. Ashwini Kumar, Deputy General Manager - Network, Bank of Baroda, Zonal Office, Mangaluru, graced the occasion as the chief guest of the conference. Professor Rajasekhara Hebbar, Administrative Officer of Besant Women's College, was also present at the event. Dr. Manjula KT, Vice Principal of the college, played a vital role in the proceedings.
The coordination of the program was efficiently handled by Dr. Parashuram Malage, Chairman of the Hindi department at the college, and Pushpalatha, Rajbhasha Officer at Bank of Baroda.
