Puttur: On the happy eve of the 73rd birthday of an alumnus,a progressive farmer and president of Patriot N. S. Kille Prathistaana, Puttur Kadamajal Subhash Rai ,his son Vipul Rai ,USA donated Rs 1 lakh to the Computer Education Fund of St Philomena College ,Puttur. This noble deed was done in gratitude for the College where his father received education. The cheque on the said amount has been handed over to the Principal of the College Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro.
This gesture of Vipul Rai is appreciated by the principal and wished them a future filled with ample health and happiness. President of Alumni Association A. J. Rai, alumnus Jairaj Bhandary, Vice Principal Prof Ganesh Bhat and Faculty members were present on this occasion.
