Mumbai:  The current media landscape is one of the biggest challenges and reporting is dubious. The question today is how we can report independently. We cannot run media without advertising and sponsorship. Hence 100% transparent reporting is possible. It is short sighted that today about 98% of the media houses are owned by politicians and corporates, so people do not believe the reports of our television channels today. The current reports are only one-sided biased reports and journalists should have courage and do transparent reporting. said Walter D'Souza Nandalike, Founder and Managing Director, Daijiworld Media Pvt. Ltd.,

Senior Advocate Kadandale Parari Prakash L. Shetty, Special Advocate of Maharashtra Government's National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Senior Adviser to KPSM Advisory Committee, Delivered a lecture on Journalism is Free, fair, and fearless this must remain the foundation of journalism. Freedom of the press must be preserved at all costs. Newspapers have existed since the early days of communication, and it is remarkable to consider how, even in challenging times, press reports reached the public. In today’s fast-paced world, journalists must be cautious not to compromise the core values of responsible reporting. There has been a noticeable decline in in-depth, research-based journalism, and the insights of subject experts must not be ignored. With the rise of electronic media, some argue that print media is no longer necessary. However, print media continues to hold a place of trust and remains a reliable source of information.

Senior Journalist Srinivasa Jokatte gave a lecture, even amidst the flood of mainstream media, journalism that nurtures Kannada language and the spirit of Karunadu is still very much alive in Mumbai. He remarked that today’s journalist’s work under immense pressure, and the life of a correspondent is increasingly challenging."

Sadanand Nayak said that, why we need associations because in times of trouble such associations become our pillar. This journalist's association, which has been built with great difficulty for 17 years in the outback Karmabhumi Maharashtra, has been a help in the difficult times of the members. Let it grow as a journalist-friendly organization in the future, Nayak said.

Arvind Bolar said that it was journalists who made me famous from theater to cinema. I am only a comedian actor, but the collaboration of journalists is unique for me to grow to this level. I am not shy to talk to anyone. However, I am still afraid of journalists. Because if there is any flaw in the world, journalists are the ones who highlight it. The good minds of journalists cultivate artists and the service of such journalists is commendable. But media people report on common people and identify them to the society.

Rons Bantwal said in the presidential address that journalists need a special lecture for such progress. Social concern should be a must among journalists. In today's era, there is a need for organization for careers. For one reason or the other, the parties need to be aligned, so let us as journalists form unity in the association and move forward as members of the association.
