Mangalore Diocese Youth Conference DYC 2023 organised by ICYM Central St. Jude ICYM Mangalore North Deanery and ICYM Kirem Unit

Kinnigoli: What we do should be appreciated by others and work to build a strong community. Msgr Fr. Maxima Noronha Vicar General Mangaluru Diocese said that one should engage in social service and respond to the hardships of others.

He was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of Mangalore Diocese Youth Conference DYC 2023 organized by Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Central Committee Mangalore and St. Jude ICYM Mangalore North Deanery and ICYM Kirem Unit at Our Lady of Remedies Church Kirem Auditorium.

It was held for the first time in 2001 at Our Lady of Remedies Church, Damas Katte, Mangalore Diocese  under the chairmanship of Ullas Fernandes and under the guidance of Burton Sequeira. After 22 years, the youth conference will be held from February 17 to February 19 at 5:00 pm. Catholic Youth Conference Central Committee Mangalore Diocese Director Fr Ashwin Cardoza, Anil Sequera Borimar, President, Nishal D'Souza, Secretary. St. Jude ICYM Mangalore North Zone President Marvel Mathais, ICYM Kirem Unit President Jaswin D'Silva and members will be present.

Jason Lawrence Crasta and Viola Reshma Lewis, for their special social services Karnataka Yuva Ratna Award 2023 has been awarded to them by the Karnataka Youth Commission and felicitated and honored during the inauguration ceremony.
