Mangalore: The ISTD (Indian Society for Training and Development) Mangalore-Udupi Chapter organized the maiden meeting for its members at St Agnes College (Autonomous). The meeting was chaired by Prof. Ramkrishna Chadaga, the Chairman of this chapter and Gurudath Somyyaji, Secretary of the chapter.
About 35 prospective members participated in the first meeting. Preetham Kamath, trainer and counselor, conducted an ice breaker session for the members. Dr. Malini Hebbar, HOD of English department at St Agnes College facilitated the business session. The members jointly set goals for the chapter after mutual deliberations.
The members have charted a robust agenda for the coming year in keeping with the society's objectives. The chapter will provide a platform to HR personnel, trainers and educationists to upskill, network and seek professional opportunities. Mangalore-Udupi Chapter plans to meet once a month, every second Saturday from 5pm to 7pm.
