Mangalore:  Karnataka (Govt.) Polytechnic, Mangalore, proudly inaugurated its induction program for the first-year diploma candidates on June 24, 2024. The event, held at the institution’s main auditorium, witnessed an enthusiastic gathering of new students, faculty members, and esteemed guests.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of several dignitaries, including the Chief Guest, Raju K, Assistant Commissioner, Revenue Department. The incharge Principal of Karnataka (Govt.) Polytechnic, Narasimha Bhat, Vinoda Kumari, Superintend, Girish Babu, HOD of Mechanical Engineering, Devaraju D, HOD of Automobile Engineering, Deepak Talekar, HOD of Civil Engineering,  P D Talawar, HOD of Computer Science and Engineering, Satheesha. K.M, HOD of Electronics and Communication,  Rekha T, HOD of Chemical Engineering and Santhosh Kumar P, HOD of Polymer Technology, along with other senior faculty members, welcomed the new batch of students and their parents.

Raju K, in his motivational speech, guided the students to study hard and persevere in their academic endeavors. He shared his own experiences and successes, inspiring the students to aim high and work diligently towards their goals. "Your journey here is just the beginning. Stay focused, stay determined, and your efforts will lead to a bright future," he remarked.

Naraimha Bhat, Incharge Principal in his welcome speech, outlined the various facilities and resources available at the institution. He assured the new students of a supportive and enriching academic environment. "Our polytechnic has a rich history of producing skilled professionals who contribute significantly to various industries. We are committed to continuing this legacy with the new batch," he remarked.

The induction program is designed to help the new students acclimate to the polytechnic environment, understand the curriculum, and become familiar with the campus facilities. Over the next few weeks, the students will participate in orientation sessions, workshops, and interactive activities aimed at fostering a sense of community and belonging.
