Mangalore: An agricultural tour hosted by SCDCC Bank concluded interaction with media and people here at SCDCC Bank headquarters Kodialbail Mangalore.
First of its kind 26 Town Agricultural Society office bearers from DK and Udupi Districts were been sent to Israel to study the Green Revolution there. How to use minimum water to Maximize crops, Green House agriculture, preservation of crop for longer time, olive grows and other many things about agriculture discussed at the tour as per the members of the tour.
They expressed their great knowledge knowing through this Israel tour which was wholly sponsored by the fruitful plan of Raitha Bandhu Sahakara Rathna Dr. M.N. Rajendra Kumar, the president of the Bank. Among the tour participants Uppangala Ramesh Bhat and Prakash Chandra Shetty shared their experience.
KMF President K. Ravi Raj Hegde said; as to the inspiration of SCDCC bank they are also interested to send a team to Israel.
SCDCC president Rajendra Kumar was honoured by the Vice president, CEO and all the Directors of the Bank. President M.N Rajendra Kumar, when replying to this honour urged Mangalore University to start an agricultural research Center. He announced a new second team to Israel study tour which include exclusively 5 women.
