Mangalore: St. Joseph Engineering College (SJEC)weight lifting team has excelled and won laurels to the college in the recent VTU State Level weightlifting championship.
Kushi, student of II-year E&C secured First place in VTU State Level below 64 kg category weightlifting championship by lifting the weight of 46 kg in clean and jerk and 34 kg in snatch total weight of 80 kg held at Alva’s IT Moodbidri on 12 November 2024 under the guidance of Physical Education Director(PED), Vaneesha V Rodrigues and Assistant PED, Sudheer M. The Management of SJEC congratulates the entire team and the Physical Education Directors for this overwhelming achievement.
