Mangalore: The official launch of TEDx St Aloysius 2025, the med A Twist of Tales, was successfully held at L. F. Rasquinha Hall, LCRI Block, St. Aloysius (Deemed To Be University) on Saturday, 22nd February.
Giselle Mehta, former IRS officer, author and entrepreneur, was the Chief Guest of the occasion, inaugurated the event and addressed the gathering, eloquently aligning her address with the event’s theme, A Twist of Tales, emphasizing the significance of embracing twists in life that shapes one's journey and help individuals find their spark and passion.
The event was presided over by Rev. Fr. Melwin Joseph Pinto SJ, rector of St. Aloysius Institutions and president of the programme. Other dignitaries on the dias included the Vice-chancellor, Rev. Dr Praveen Martis SJ, Dr Smitha D.K., Staff convenor; Giselle Mehta, Chief guest; Mithun Boloor, Guest of honour; Dr Alwyn D’Sa, Registrar of St. Aloysius College (Autonomous); and Dr Ronald Nazareth, Registrar of St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University).
