Mangalore: VEDIC INSPIRATIONS, an art exhibition by Prof. Dr. Akhter Husain, will be inaugurated by Veda Vyas, Hon’ble MLA, in the presence of Ivan D’souza, Hon’ble MLC, Mithun Rai, Hon’ble KPCC Gen. Secretary, Dr. Mohan Alva, Dr. Habib Rehman, Dr. UT. Ifthikhar and other distinguished guests at Hotel Ocean Pearl, Mangalore, on October 25th. The two-day exhibition features twenty artworks that reinterpret India’s ancient Vedic heritage through a contemporary lens.

Prof. Akhter— Administrative Director for Centre for Craniofacial Anomalies and former Dean of Yenepoya Dental College — is a distinguished orthodontist, academic, and artist whose work bridges science and aesthetics. His creative journey, spanning photography, digital design, and painting, reflects a lifelong pursuit of beauty, proportion, and harmony.

An Associate of the Royal Photographic Society (U.K.) and recipient of several national and international recognitions, Dr. Akhter brings a rare perspective that merges analytical precision with spiritual exploration. His Trinergic art style — uniting pixels, pigments, and 3D elements — translates metaphysical ideas into visual meditations that seek harmony between form, feeling, and meaning.
Through Vedic Inspirations, he celebrates the shared spirit that unites humanity beyond boundaries, faiths, and forms.
