Mangalore: The number of Covid 19 infections in Dakshina Kannada district is increasing day by day. Deputy Commissionerof Dakshina Kannada has urged the public to follow the COVID-19 precautionary measures to effectively control the spread of infection Dr. K. V Rajendra has ordered.
The people must comply with the Government's July 30 Directive-3 Guidelines and adhere to the following guidelines:
Face Cover: Wearing a face mask is mandatory in all public places, work places and during travel. In urban areas, if the mask is not worn, Rs. 200 and Rs. 100 will be fined.
Social Gap: Everyone must maintain at least 6 feet (2 yards) of space in public places.
Mobilization: Massive public meetings and total nesting have been continued. The number of guests at wedding parties should not exceed 50. The number of persons for funeral / funeral related work shall not exceed 20.
Spitting in public places is a punishable punishment as specified in local authorities, its laws, rules and regulations. The use of alcohol, pan, gutka, tobacco etc. in public places is prohibited.
Here are some additional directions to follow in the workplace:
Work from home: You must follow the home-work method to the extent possible.
Periodicals at work: In the workplace, in the shops, in the markets, and in the industrial and commercial establishments, the practice must be followed.
Screening and Sanitation: The entire premises of the work, general facilities and all aspects of human contact must be sanitized frequently. (For example door knobs, etc.)
Social gap: Supervisors must ensure that all individuals maintain social gap in the workplace, between individuals, during breaks, and at lunch breaks.
Action will be taken in accordance with Section 5 (3), 6 (1), (2) of the Karnataka Infectious Diseases Act and Section 57 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, if they act in contravention of the above national directives.
