Mangalore: The Workshop on “Start - Up Mind Set” was inaugurated on Monday by Vinaya Bhat PJ, General Manager, Karnataka Bank, Head Office, Mangalore. The workshop, which will be held from December 19th to 22nd, is jointly organized by Swastika National School, Atal Incubation Center Nitte, Rotary Club of Mangalore Downtown and Mangalore Productivity Council at Vertex One Work Space, Ballalbagh.
CA SS Nayak, the Chief Coordinator of the program welcomed the dignitaries gathered and urged the students to benefit from the workshop and contribute to the country's economy by establishing their own Start- Ups.
The Inaugurator, Vinaya Bhat PJ, explained how Karnataka Bank, a start-up started in our own Mangalore, has now grown into a gigantic bank, and told the participating students to actively take part in the workshop. Entrepreneur Mridul M. Mahesh spoke and wished the students to take advantage of this workshop and start their own startups with innovative ideas and become successful entrepreneurs. Rtn. Suraj Hebbar Neria, Assistant Governor, Zone 3, wished the students well. Dr. Raghavendra Holla, President of Swastika National School said that during these four days, various resource persons will take up sessions on various topics such as Entrepreneurship Skills, MSME, Start Ups etc . Dr. A P Achar, CEO, Atal Incubation Center Nitte and Ravindra, Secretary, Mangalore Productivity Council were also present. Principal of Swastika National School, Dr. Malini N. Hebbar presented the Vote of Thanks.
Dr. AP Achar, CEO, Atal Incubation Center Nitte took up the first session about Start-Up Ecosystem and the session on Entrepreneurship Skills was presented by Subhash Bangera on the first day.
About 55 students from different colleges across the city participated in the program, Pooja Rao hosted the program.
