Mangaluru, July 23: The new team of office bearers of Winners Club Toastmasters for the year 2024-25, led by President Praveen Pinto, was installed at a glittering function held on Saturday, 20 July 2024, at Madhuvan’s Village Restaurant, Yeyyadi, in the city. Dr. Guruprasad Bhat, Chief Medical Oncologist at Kanachur Institute of Medical Science, Mangalore, was the chief guest.
Toastmasters Area Director Sharlyn Rodrigues administered the oath of office to the office bearers for 2024-25 in the presence of Division Director Jyothika Shetty. The team includes Praveen Pinto (President), Vani Ummakka (Vice-President – Education), Malini Hebbar (Vice-President – Membership), Shivani Baliga (Vice-President – Public Relations), Rani Mathias (Secretary), Beena Shetty (Treasurer), K. Subramanya Kamath (Sergeant-at-Arms), and Shaivi Salian (Immediate Past President). Club member Savita Salian was felicitated on becoming the District Director of District 121.
Bharathi Shevgoor welcomed the gathering. Shaivi Salian presented the annual report. K. Subramanya Kamath gave the vote of thanks. Bhaskar Kiran and Poornima Mallar were the Masters of Ceremony.
