Huntingdon: Two assailants stabbed several passengers on a train in Cambridgeshire, Britain, and police have arrested two suspects following the incident.

10 people were seriously injured in the stabbing, with 9 of them in a critical condition, according to reports.

British Transport Police confirmed the incident on X, adding that an emergency response was underway to a multiple stabbing incident on a train heading to Huntingdon. Two people have been arrested, it said.
We received a call at 7:39 pm (local time) on Saturday about multiple stabbings on a train. "Two men were arrested after a train was stopped at Huntingdon. Police said 10 people were injured in the incident, with 9 of them in a critical condition."
Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned the horrific incident and urged people to follow police advice.
Posting on social media, he said, "We are here to help the injured. Thank you to the emergency services who responded to the victims. Everyone in the area should follow the advice of the police." The motive behind the attack is still unknown and the investigation is ongoing.
