Neermarga — The faithful gathered in reverence at St. Joseph the Worker Church, Neermarga, to observe the solemn Maundy Thursday service. The evening marked the beginning of the Easter Triduum, commemorating the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with His disciples.
Rev. Fr. Paul Pinto, the Parish Priest, was the co-celebrant of the Holy Eucharist. In a symbolic act of humility and service, during the eucharistic celebration washed the feet of twelve parishioners, re-enacting Jesus’ gesture of love and servant leadership.
The church was filled with devotion as the congregation reflected on the themes of sacrifice, love, and unity. The solemn procession of the Blessed Sacrament to the Altar of Repose concluded the service, inviting the faithful to silent adoration.
