Mangaluru, July 31: Padmya Ranera, the Police Inspector of the District Control Room in Dakshina Kannada district, has completed a long and dedicated service of 33 years in the department and will be retiring on 31st July 2025 due to superannuation.
He joined the Karnataka State Police's wireless service in 1992 and served as a wireless operator at the Police Radio Station in Shikaripura from 1992 to 1997. From 1997 to 2011, he served in the District Control Room in Shivamogga. Later, he worked in the ANF (Anti-Naxal Force) in Karkala from 2011 to 2014. From 2014 until his retirement on 31-07-2025, he served in the District Control Room of Dakshina Kannada district in Mangaluru. During his tenure, he was honored with the Chief Minister's Gold Medal in the year 2022.
