Moodubidire: Our Prime minister has taken yoga to the international level, and with that, the scope for naturopathy has widened immensely. Graduates in naturopathy today have ample opportunities both in India and abroad, said Pune based Wellness Centre- Atmantan, Medical Director and CEO, Dr. Manoj Kutteri. He was speaking at the induction program of the UG and PG batches (2025–26) of Alva’s College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, held at the Yoga Hall Auditorium of the college.

Dr. Kutteri urged students to refine their knowledge and skills every single day. The college can guide you, but how you nurture that learning depends entirely on you. Naturopathy is not an ordinary stream; it is one of the premier branches of medicine. The wellness trend is not just for today, it represents the future of healthcare, he said.

Emphasising the growing global relevance of holistic medicine, he added that Naturopathy doctors must focus on personalised treatment. Graduates in this field have multiple career opportunities they can become doctors, acupuncturists, nutritionists, corporate wellness coaches, fitness trainers, academicians, or even digital wellness professionals. Some nutritionists in India earn as much as Rs. 1.5 lakh per consultation, which shows the immense potential in this sector, he observed.

He further noted that while Artificial Intelligence is advancing rapidly, it cannot replace Naturopathy doctors in areas that require personalization, human touch, and understanding of the human psyche.
AEF Trustee Vivek Alva presided over the programme. Principal Dr. Vanitha Shetty, Vice-Principal Dr. Vidya Ashritha Shetty, and Administrative Officer Dr. Prajna Alva were present on the occasion.
