Mangalore: The job fair organised by The University Employment Information and Guidance Bureau (UEIGB) and University Training and Placement Cell (UTPC)in association with Mangala Alumni Association, at the of Mangalore University on Saturday and Sunday, proved fruitful. 

According to information from the organizers, in the Job Fair where about 60 companies participated, more than 1800 candidates have registered their names and 745 have been selected for the final round. Tech Mahindra has guaranteed 18 jobs and among well-known companies, Team Lease has offered 54 jobs, while HGS shortlisted 26 and Hexaware Technologies shortlisted 8 candidates. 

UEIGB and UTPC Chief Prof. KS Jayappa informed that with the approval of the Vice Chancellor and Registrar of the varsity, there will be a mega job fair in December with the cooperation of various colleges of the coastal region.
