Bengaluru: Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary feast celebrated in a grandmanner at St. Francis de Sales Church, Hebbagodi, Archdiocese of Bangalore. 

The festive celebrations commenced on Thursday, August 28, 2025, with the flag hoisting ceremony at 6:00 p.m., presided over by Rev. Fr. Sebastian Conrad msfs, Parish Priest of St. Alphonsa Church, Mysore, which was followed by the Rosary, Procession, Holy Mass, and Novena. On Friday, August 29th, Rev. Fr. Arvin Jeevan Pais S.J., Director of CIRW, Inana Jyothi, Anekal, led the Rosary, Procession, Holy Mass, and Novena. On Saturday, August 30th, Rev. Fr. Shantharaj SJ, Parish Priest of St. Joseph's Church, Anekal, presided over the Rosary, Procession, Holy Mass, and Novena. On Sunday, August 31st, at 7:45 a.m., Rev. Fr. Jabamalai msfs, Parish Priest of SFS Church, Koppal, and Principal of SFS Public School, Koppal, led the Rosary, Procession, Holy Mass, and Novena.

Rev. Fr. Yesu Karlekar, SJ, Professor at St. Joseph's P.U. College Jnana Jyothi, Anekal, presided over the Rosary, Procession, Holy Mass, and Novena. On Tuesday, September 2nd, Rev. Fr. Santhosh Kumar, msfs, Director of De Sales Music Academy & Language Academy and Provincial Councillor Incharge of Formation, led the Rosary, Procession, Holy Mass, and Novena.

On Wednesday, September 3rd, Rev. Fr. Staney Rodrigues msfs, Principal of St. Francis Sales P.U. College Hebbagodi, Bangalore, presided over the Rosary, Procession, Holy Mass, and Novena. On Thursday, September 4th, Rev. Fr. Jude Daniel Vijay ScJ, Parish Priest of St. Anthony's Church, Yadavanahalli, led the Rosary, Procession, Holy Mass, and Novena. On Friday, Rev. Fr. Vinay Kumar, Secretary of the Karnataka Regional Liturgy and Interreligious Dialogue Commissions, led the Rosary, Procession, Holy Mass, and Novena.

On Saturday, September 6th, a Festal Solemn Mass was celebrated at 6:30 PM, officiated by Fr. Franklin D'Souza, Youth Director and esteemed preacher from the Diocese of Shimoga. During his homily, Fr. D'Souza addressed the theme of "Mother Mary as a Beacon of Hope," illustrating this concept through various instances from the life of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Following the Holy Mass, Rev. Fr. Joshy T MSFS, the Parish Priest, expressed gratitude to Fr. Franklin D'Souza. Fr. Anil Kiran, MSFS, Assistant Parish Priest, was also in attendance. The parishioners subsequently honored Fr. Franklin D'Souza for his participation in the feast.
